Kite surfing: West Shore Llandudno
Wind Direction: NW
Wind Stength: F5
Surf / Sea State: chop, flat inside
Air Temperature: 17
Sea Temperature: 16.8
Weather: overcast
Max Speed:
Distance Covered:

Once heavy rain cleared set of for West Shore. Rob and Danny already out saying 9m fine. First time I used kite Mic lent to me, and extensions to convert nots and loops worked fine. Kite turns much faster than my 11m and took a while to adjust, and not sure I fully did. Not many transitions came off as choppy on outside and gusty inside as thin wind was heading more North than forecast. Kite stonks upwind.
I usually windsurf in this wind and afterwards thought kiting was better today and location as I would have been on 6m and flat board a bit of a handful in big chop. I think on turns I need to head into wind more, keep kite moving and point downwind more agressively and turn kite with more comitment. Pleased with general kiting.
